Why this practice exists
Byte Craftpoint began with a recurring problem: capable independent professionals were piecing together major migration decisions from embassy checklists, city pages, old forum threads, and advice written for someone else’s nationality. The facts existed, but their order and relevance did not feel clear.
We provide structured recommendations before a person spends money or makes a commitment. The work sits between general public information and regulated legal or tax advice. When a question crosses that boundary, we say so and identify the kind of qualified professional needed.
Our working approach
We start with occupation, clients, nationality, current status, destination, and timing—not a generic checklist. We distinguish what is published nationally from what a local Ausländerbehörde asks in practice, and date the sources used in every written route note.
Our lead adviser, Mara Klein, has supported international independent professionals with relocation research and administrative preparation since 2018. Her background is in cross-border mobility operations and adult guidance. She does not act as a Rechtsanwältin or Steuerberaterin.
Principles we hold to
- Authority over anecdote. Current official sources are the baseline.
- Limits stated early. Approval, legal interpretation, and tax classification are not ours to promise.
- Minimum sensitive data. Initial reviews use redacted material wherever possible.
- A route you can explain. You should understand why each requested document belongs in the file.
Munich is our home base, but remote sessions accommodate people planning from abroad and residents considering a change in status.
